About Maryphyllis Horn Bibliography & Index BOOK COVER TESTIMONIALS:• From Karen Newton, Founder, Innerchange Magazine,Garner, NC : "In the past I have read a couple of books and articles about shamanic practices and soul retrieval, and at one point I attended a shamanic journeying workshop. However, I never truly grasped the meaning of soul loss and soul retrieval until I read Maryphyllis Horn’s book, TRANSFORMING THE SOUL. She has eloquently weaved together her personal story, other case studies, and in-depth descriptions and explanations of the process in a way that is engaging, understandable, and comprehensive to the reader. Those on a journey toward wholeness, as well as practitioners and healers, will find TRANSFORMING THE SOUL an essential tool to discovering and understanding how parts of our souls affect our own nurturing, our journey of healing, and our continued spiritual growth." • From Rev. Barbs Burman, B.S., M.P.H., the book’s editor: “This is a heart-opening book. Just by reading it I am changed... changed as a result of new awareness. |

Preface to "Transforming The Soul"Welcome! It is no coincidence that you are reading this book. You have been attracted to it due to your quest. Likewise I have been impelled to share this information in this way, in order to help you. Whether or not you have prior knowledge about soul retrieval or soul transformation, your intuition is guiding you to this subject. Come along with me as I tell you my own experience with this wondrous healing tool.Beyond the initial training in how to do soul retrievals, all the integration information you find in this book was a direct gift to me by my own Spirit Teacher (guiding angel who appears as human, to the mind’s eye). The intention initially was for my own healing and spiritual growth. There were no other humans who could help me attain the level of inner integration, i.e., transformation, that my Spirit Teacher said was needed. In fact, there were several who said that a soul retrieval doesn’t need inner work, that all a person needs to do is to just continue working on their issues. In the beginning I tried doing that but found myself becoming more deeply mired in the negativity of my soul parts. When I first set up my private practice I also witnessed how two of my clients treated their soul parts in such an uncaring, thoughtless way. It was clear to me that they did not fully grasp their soul parts’ significance. All of this disturbed me in such a way that I just had to write down, in book form, what Spirit’s guidance has been at each stage of the transformation process. As I applied Spirit’s lessons in my life, I experienced greater wholeness and much wonder, joy and peace. These wonderful feelings gave me the additional overwhelming desire to share with others what I found. My clients too encountered the same healing results, each in their own way, of course. Indeed, the information is universal in application. And that is the underlying reason why I have written this book: so that you too may benefit from the insights and methods given here.Notable Quote: Catherine Ponder, in OPEN TO RECEIVE, says:"When any person withholds that which belongs to the universe, his life is thrown out of balance, and he experiences lack in some form. It may be lack of supply, lack of health, lack of love, lack of spiritual understanding, or lack of direction in his life." |
